Are you fucking kidding me?
I try my hardest to have faith in humanity.. and then I read things like this.
#ToMyUnBornChild I will love you whether you are straight, gay, bisexual, transgender, light skinned, dark skinned, have curly hair, have straight hair, have wavy hair, have piercings, have tattoos, don’t have straight A’s, have a mental illness… I will love you, I will love you, I will whole-heartedly and unconditionally love you. I will accept you as you are, flaws, imperfections, quirks and all. But one thing I will not tolerate is if you are a bully, cruel, ignorant, and lack compassion for not only yourself but others around you. May you always have love in your heart and have an open mind and to always, always treat others the way you want to be treated. I don’t expect you to be perfect, but I do expect you to be kind and to always stand up for what you believe in.
Besides the bad grammar and horrible spelling, this is another reason why I HATE reading the trending topics on Twitter. SO MUCH HATE AND IGNORANCE. For people to even say these things makes me think they are nowhere near ready to have children. Hating them before they’re even born? Is that what having children is for? To make them into what YOU want? And if they aren’t, beating them, berating them, and hating them is the answer? So being gay is worse than having a child who is a bully or someone who is disrespectful, cruel, or rude? Right, that makes sense… (NOT). These people need to re-evaluate their priorities, values, and beliefs. This is sickening, heart breaking, hateful, and disturbing all in one.
